Recruiter Guidelines

Poets & Quants named Katz a “Best-Kept Secret” among recruiters. To that end, the Katz Career Management Center strives to provide best-in-class service to recruiting partners and masters level business students. We ask that all parties adhere to the following policies and guidelines.

All recruiters, whether on- or off- campus, should give students until:

  • December 1, 2016, or three weeks from receipt of official offer letter, whichever is longer, to respond to a full-time job offer.
  • February 24, 2017, or two weeks from receipt of official offer letter, whichever is longer, to respond to an internship offer.

Students may accept or reject offers prior to the specified deadlines, but should not be compelled to do so.

Companies should not encourage students to renege on previously accepted job or internship offers or rescind offers they have previously extended to our students; doing so could result in the loss of on-campus recruiting privileges.

It is requested that recruiters follow up with all students regarding the status of their candidacy in a timely manner.
